i love print media. i hate printing
parramatta zine fair was last weekend and i had a great time. my zine collection has already outgrown the folder i currently keep them in, but i have no room to make a mini zine shelf so they'll have to stay (delicately) shoved in there for now. i also attended angelhub which was a cool event - good vibe and loved the mini gallery they had set up.
i have now migrated this blog onto my main domain of ilovetoxicwaste.net cuz i didn't really see any point in why i split it off into two things in the first place... i think my idea was i would put more art stuff on the main domain and have the wizardbeetlez one be just random stuff but since i haven't gotten around to doing much art, i just merged the two. which brings me to point out the new art page in the sidebar, where i'll upload any art i do end up doing. currently i just have my latest filet crochet project - i'm working on another one that will serve as a banner of sorts.
i wrote down quite a few things to discuss for this blog post but i think i'll leave it for next time and just make this one short. thank you to the person on itch who pointed out one of my zines had page duplicates and was therefore missing a page (i don't know how i missed that this entire time). i've now updated that and added margins for easier printing - only slightly. i think my printer is cursed because it likes to add one larger margin on one side than the other for no discernible reason so everything is always printed off centre. so i don't really know if adding in these margins is helpful at all, especially since the text is now a lot smaller to read. i'll test other options at some point...
i've joined a couple jams so let's see if i get new stuff done! possibly a love and dove zine in the works.
