burying the lede
so i wanted to clarify by choosing not to bury the lede in this post that i don't intentionally title things based on a topic i only mention in the last paragraph of a post. i normally come up with title when i'm finished writing and so usually the last thing i wrote is what sticks out to me. i just title things based on what i think is amusing, not because i'm trying to get clicks. some time ago i decided to turn off bear blog analytics because i was checking them too much and it defeats the purpose of this blog because i'm just here to post shit to keep myself working on stuff. which is why there's no toast button either. have i mentioned this already? probably.
anyway another thing i wanted to mention is that i changed where my email is (now in the footer) and how it's formatted because i started getting random spam sent to it. i guess it was easy for bots to send things to when its just a link? an odd thing i noticed is that one of the emails looked like it was sent from my email to me... not sure if that's because it's a mask and not a real email? either way - i have not contacted anyone from the email in the footer ever so if you have received anything from "me", do not click any links
and now i guess i have buried the usual lede by putting the announcement down here: i have a new zine called locations: love and dove!! this was completed for the digital pet jam! yes the art (if you can call maps art...) is pretty simplistic in this one, but i wanted to make something without getting help from the love and dove artist as i can't pester them all the time. especially because we are hopefully going to release another love and dove thing for the bara jam (if we don't finish it in time for the jam we'll still release it). but i wanted to just give a simple insight into their world so hopefully if you like love and dove you will enjoy :)
i'm also attempting to work on a visual novel with no help from any artists called death of a monkey for the denpa jam. i've told you the title so that means i have to finish it right? it'll be pretty short and a kinetic novel, so no choices or branching narratives. just kind of exploring an idea i've had for a while. let's see how all these projects go lol
